The “Alkyone” sailing yacht is a German built Bavaria 46 Holiday 1999(rebuild 2010) 14.50m long and 4.50m wide.
It is a comfortable, spacious and quality built yacht very fast either using sails or her (Volvo Penta) engine, with a cruise speed of 7 miles at 2.100 rpm. “Alkyone” offers accommodation to up to10 people. There are 2 two-bed cabins at the aft part and 2 three-bed cabins at he fore part of the yacht. There are also 2 bathrooms provided with shower plus an outdoor shower and a table illuminated during the night while for the day there is a Bimini top Spray hood.
Your voyage becomes easy and comfortable through the use of the automatic pilot and the color GPS Plotter. There is no need to worry about long night sailing because everything can easily be checked through satellite. That of course does not mean that a good skipper shouldn’t check his map and notice all there is around him!
A Radio-CD-mp3 keeps you company during leisure time and for those who like watching television, there is also a TV 20” set at your disposition. There is also an inverter of 12v to 220v to charge your mobile phone, laptop and battery chargers 500 Watt. The 2×50 watt solar panels will help your batteries keep functioning.
Getting ashore when it is not possible to dock, which is a usual phenomenon for the Greek islands during high season, an Inflatable tender with outboard motor 4 hp, for four people is available.

You can make a bareboat yacht charter or a skippered-crewed yacht charter. We also organize short cruises during the weekends as well seven-day up to ten-day cruises visiting places of our choice in order to be in close touch with nature, the wind and the waves.
